I am an elementary school teacher in Seattle who also loves film. I see a true art in filmmaking and its ability to shape our culture. In America today, there are a lot of problems to solve, and one solution I have found is education. My view is why not educate yourself about issues in the world through film, if you are going to watch a movie or show anyways.
